We've CHANGED THE DATES FOR THIS AUCTION. It will be TUES/WED OCT. 13/14. We'll do 200 BIDSPOTTER LOTS PER DAY. This is a liquidation auction of an Electro-Optics Research company, including accumulated equipment, tools, and furnishings. The auction will be two days, Oct 14 will be a LIVE WEBCAST AUCTION with BIDSPOTTER. You'll be able to bid via the internet during the auciton, and put in pre-bids from now until the morning of the auction. DAY ONE CATALOG on BIDSPOTTER. DAY TWO CATALOG on BIDSPOTTER. The October 15, the SECOND DAY of the auction will be the FURNISHINGS and OTHER EQUIPMENT that we didn't want to sell via the Internet. There will be a SPECIAL PREVIEW some days before the auction. We will announce that day next week. We'll have PHOTOS FOR THE FURNISHINGS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT on the website, NEXT WEEK. EOO was formed in 1969 and has operated as a private company in the electro-optics business for 17 years after spinning out of GTE Government Systems in 1992. They built prototype electro-optic sensors for optical communications and remote sensing. Equipment from their 7500 square foot facility includes optical test equipment, Newport optical tables, opto-mechanical mounts, a Buccini Instruments MIC1 laser interferometer, a number of custom YAG and fiber lasers, optical telescopes, a 24 inch mounted ZerodurŪ flat mirror, and optical alignment equipment. Additionally, a large collection of loose optics, mirrors, prisms, beamsplitters, retro-reflectors, and fiber optic patch cords. Also included are some electrical test equipment and power supplies, a Bridgeport mill, inspection equipment, granite surface plate and a number of bake-out ovens and clean-room equipment for optical assembly.
