There is what appears to be a complete HANG-GLIDER in its bag, a Schwinn 10 speed bicycle, an all-terrain bicycle, some vintage sports car windshields, a cabinet with stained glass doors, and photos of the Singer treadle machine, the Bugeye Sprite parts, three wheel cart, and ancient washing machine the size and shape of a kerosene heater, and that vintage ice-box.      MORE PHOTO LINKS BELOW

As the urbanization of the Santa Clara Valley nears completion, these final vestiges of farming are all but gone. Here's what's left of vast orchards, backed into a corner by housing. We're not farmers, but even we suspect this wasn't a "barn". Looks like 70 or 80 years ago it was a packing shed. Regardless, everybody has called it "the barn" for a long time.

While progress was making this into a little island, somebody was storing things in this structure. There is a lot of stuff here, some of it good, some of it bad, and for the sharp-eyed, this may be a bonanza. It all has to go away. Look through the photos, you don't know what you're going to find in here. We don't know yet everything there is. We're going to try to get a catalog up before the auction -- we'll let you know. We'll also put the address up before the auction, of course.

This will be an absolute auction, no minimums, no reserves. It will also be an absolutely fun auction...
